The Vortex Prefab Space Colony lets an individual or organization found their own modular space colony able of sustaining biological life indefinitely. Colonies are autonomously governed, but are connected to the full network of Vortex colonies allowing for free travel, and the exchange of information and resources.
A Pod for Every Occasion
A modular pod design allows space colonies to be fully customizable. Separate pods also allows for easy construction, as new pods can be added without disrupting the colony. This also acts as a safety feature as malfunctioning pods can be isolated for repair. All prefab colony designs contain certain essential pods, but hundreds of pre designed specialty pods can be added as well.
